A portrait of my daughters every week in 2017

Big:  Wants to be near, in or around water as soon as it’s remotely warm enough to do so.

Little:  Is a constant danger to herself.  Seriously this kid tries to find anything and everything she shouldn’t eat and then attempts to eat it.  At the beach that equals handfuls of sand.

Also I can’t believe it’s already halfway through 2017.  These kids both have birthdays coming up in a few short months and it’s intimidating how quickly the time is passing.  It’s so hard and chaotic sometimes when they’re little like this but I already miss the times when they were smaller so I just want to hold on to these moments as long as I can.  It’s the curse of parenthood, desperately wanting to get to the next phase and then missing the last once you’re past it.
