Big: said she had the best Thanksgiving ever, due to family, loads of pie, and my bff teaching her how to draw portraits when she visited.

Little: was totally unimpressed by Thanksgiving dinner. I had hoped she would love it as much as her sister did at that age but alas, her ridiculously picky eating habits won out.

Big: is still not completely sold on soccer. I feel like she’s just more of a dance kind of lady.

Little: started standing on her own pretty steadily this week. It’s like she doesn’t realize she’s even doing it, until a few minutes pass she sits back down.

I ended up with two little girls in me bed one night and decided to set up the camera and try out some long exposures.  I have to say I’m pretty intrigued by the results and am hoping to do it again soon.

Big: suffered a very cold Halloween, and has declared that Halloween should only occur in summer going forward.

Little: added howling like a wolf to her repertoire this week.   Her sister will ask “can you howl like this?”, show her how and then she proceeds with her tiny baby howl.

Big:  the outbursts and anger that have plagued us at home since starting her new medication this spring have seemed to melt away.  It makes me so incredibly happy to see her not feeling so out of control.  And it has made her once again, the easiest, sweetest child to deal with.

Little: is becoming so talkative and seems to really grasp language.  She follows directions and appears to understand pretty much everything we say.  She started saying “uh-oh” this week and it’s the cutest thing.
