A portrait of my daughters every week in 2017

Big: I’ve been trying to take this photo for a while.  Between bad timing and a broken camera it took me a few tries.  It’s still not quite right but it’s almost there

Little: Let’s out squeals of joy when she goes outside after a nap.  And then tries to shove handfuls of dirt or grass or anything else she can get her hands on into her mouth.

Big: is getting more difficult to photograph, she’s quite vocal when she’s not in the mood for photos.

Little: is at the age where she’s absolutely perfect for snuggling, she really loves to be hugged and cuddled and it’s just the best thing ever.

Big: has had a cold this week so that finger has been planted inside of her nose much of the day.  And her upper lip is a giant scab from so much wiping and licking.  Gross.

Little: also has the same cold.  But clearly doesn’t really care.

My camera died this week which was totally stressful but luckily I was able to borrow one until mine gets back.  Hence the large number of photos.

Big: Asks for French braids or some other “beautiful” hair do most mornings.  She also refuses to wear anything other than dresses anymore.  She says she wants to be beautiful and tshirts are not beautiful.  Who is this girl and where did she come from?

Little: Has been loving the freedom to play outdoors and pull violets and dandelions and try to eat them.  I love her little baby fingers and Freddy Krueger baby nails, even when they’re ripping my skin off.
