Her sleep has been all sorts of wonky lately, including the awesome middle of the night prolonged wake ups. Which leads to random mid afternoon naps in whatever place is available.

The big kid managed to bring lice home from school, which was all sorts of awesome, and meant every single bit of bedding in the house got washed on hot at once. Leaving not much left for them to sleep with. Oops.

Having them in the same bed makes night time parenting way easier, and also way cuter.

Sometimes I watch her sleep, because she’s my last baby and I want to remember exactly how wonderful sleeping babies are when they actually sleep.

Her eyes kept fluttering closed while she laid on the couch, but the six year old nap resistor won, and she stayed awake.

I didn’t manage to get a photo of anyone actually sleeping this week, so the closest thing was this big kid pretending to be a baby in her sisters Moses basket turned doll bed.
