A portrait of my daughter every day in 2014
This girl and I spent the night hanging out by the Christmas tree, eating over priced salami (it’s ridiculously good) and listening to Pandora radio. Occasionally she yanks an ornament off of the tree, or starts reading Muddypaws First Christmas to me. This is the song in my brain today. Some days are harder the others, this one in particular(hello no sleep for the past two days, the beginnings of a cold and another early morning tomorrow) but spending time with this brilliant girl makes it all worth it. She lifts me up in ways nothing else can. The light from the Christmas tree is pretty phenomenal too.

She can correctly name all of her family members. She says thank you mama every single time I give her anything or do something she asks for. She loves to peel the paper off of her crayons. She asks to read 101 Dalmatians at least 20 times a day. She will eat salad as long as I refer to it as pickle salad. Her favorite foods mirror her Papas, mac and cheese, cheese pizza and doughnuts.
