This kid has a mind of her own these days and I love it. She’s wild and affectionate and smart and funny. She is perfect.

I’m fairly certain she was doing something very important with those pumpkins that was beyond my level of comprehension.

Captain cranky pants was slightly less cranky today. Hopefully her nose is feeling much better tomorrow or else it’s to the doctor we go.

She’s been quite the cranky girl today, due to a rather inflamed scratch on her nose. So I got her a new animal app for the iPad. It cured all.

She picked out this photo today, she really likes to play with the gravel at the park. So much so that we had to talk about not throwing it numerous times.

We went to the zoo today, which was just as depressing as I remember it. Seriously, the flamingos get a room the size of my living room with a few inches of water. Hotel swimming pools trump their home by leaps and bounds.

She was slightly interested in the lion, tiger, giraffes and monkeys, but surprisingly not as interested as I thought. She seemed more entertained by the signs you put your face through to be different animals and the stone lions.
